SUMMARY:

Are you a numbers-driven leader who thrives on managing credit with precision and confidence? A well-established organization in the manufacturing and wholesale industry is seeking an experienced Debtors / Credit Manager to take ownership of their full credit control function.

POSITION INFO:

If you’re hands-on, analytical, and ready to lead a high-volume environment, this role offers the chance to bring structure, stability, and strategic oversight to a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full debtors and credit management function.
Conduct credit vetting and risk assessments for new and existing customers.
Manage the age analysis, collections, and credit limits to ensure a healthy cash flow.
Review and interpret credit bureau reports for informed decision-making.
Handle billing, invoicing, and credit notes efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Partner with sales and operations to resolve account queries and support business performance.
Maintain accuracy in all financial processes while driving compliance and efficiency.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric (essential).
A credit management qualification would be advantageous.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Debtors or Credit Manager role.
Exposure to retail, FMCG, manufacturing, or wholesale industries.
Strong experience in Syspro and MS Office (especially Excel).
Proven experience managing large volumes of invoices and consumer accounts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Immediately available candidates will be given preference.
