Design Specialist – Pressure Vessels

Construct Executive Search (CES) is a specialist Executive Search/Recruitment Agency within the technical field i.e., Engineering, Construction as well as Trade & Technical (FMCG). We are currently recruiting for the below position.

An independent company is seeking to employ Design Specialist with Pressure vessels design experience. The successful candidate must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer and have experience of local Pressure Vessel Regulations and the requirement of SANAS 347.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must have a B.Eng. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant Engineering Degree.

Must have 5 - 8 Years’ Experience in design /appraisal of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, piping and tanks, composite pressure vessels.

Must be Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer and experience of local Pressure Vessel Regulations and the requirement of SANAS 347.

Must have good knowledge of application of appropriate national/international standards like ASME, EN13445, PD5500, EN12952, EN12953

Must be Proficiency in software such as PVELITE, COMPRESS, ANSYS, FEA software and knowledge of design by analysis requirements.

Must have Experience in inspection of pressure equipment & Knowledge in piping flexibility analysis & CAESAR software.

Must be Computer literate & Have Interpersonal skills including communication and reporting in English at all levels.
