JOB SUMMARY:
Design and Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Junior Graduate Mechanical Engineer with 1 - 5 years’ experience.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Candidate will be trained in company procedures and will be expected to progress rapidly in all aspects of the engineering activities which includes design and manufacturing aspects of the equipment, site and underground visits, customer and supplier interactions, and project management activities. Mentorship towards Professional Engineering registration will be provided.

Strong design and numerate skills are required, as well as very high energy levels and the ability to interact well with colleagues, suppliers, customers and site personnel.

Standard engineering design tools including Inventor, MS Project, Finite Element Analysis, as well as all MS Office products.

The company is in the East Rand and operates throughout Southern Africa as well as internationally.
