POSITION INFO:

Job title: Electrical Engineer

Salary: R50-55k/month

Location: North-Cape, located on a mining site

Responsibilities

Design, review, and approve electrical systems (LV, MV, HV).
Lead electrical engineering activities on major projects.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
Ensure compliance with international and local electrical standards.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
Manage contractors and technical teams.
Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical failures.
Implement safety and quality standards on site.
Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Requirements

Grade 12
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - beneficial
10–15 years’ proven industry experience
Experience working on large projects in Africa
Ability to lead teams and manage contractors
Willingness to travel or work on project sites
