SUMMARY:

A globally active engineering company specialising in modular process plant solutions is seeking a Mid to Senior Electrical Engineer (EC&I) with strong experience in panel design, instrumentation, and commissioning. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to innovative, international engineering projects.

Job & Company Description:

The successful candidate will join a technically driven Electrical, Control & Instrumentation team responsible for the design, procurement, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems for modular and containerised process plants. The role requires strong practical experience in panel design and process plant environments.

Education:

BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5–10 years’ experience in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering
Strong experience in electrical panel design and instrumentation systems
Exposure to process plant environments
Experience coordinating procurement of EC&I equipment
Hands-on experience with FATs and commissioning activities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

Design electrical panels including MCCs, MCPs, junction boxes, RIO, and PLC panels
Select and specify instrumentation for process plant applications
Manage procurement of EC&I equipment and instrumentation
Interface with panel-building workshops to ensure design compliance and quality
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of electrical panels
Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on 3D models
Support and lead commissioning activities for process plants
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and project specifications

Advantageous Skills:

Experience using CAD tools
Exposure to Endress & Hauser selection tools
Knowledge of Siemens switchgear systems
