Deputy Principal – Foundation Phase
Location: Johannesburg South

A leading independent school in Johannesburg South is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Deputy Principal – Foundation Phase.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Proven leadership experience within the Foundation Phase of a school
Strong track record of academic and operational leadership aligned with school budgets at this level
IEB experience is essential
SACE registration (compulsory)
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
Ability to lead and inspire both staff and learners

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and pastoral leadership within the Foundation Phase
Oversee curriculum delivery, teaching standards and learner support
Manage staff development, mentorship and performance within the phase
Support the Principal in driving the school’s vision, values and operational objectives
Foster a nurturing, inclusive and excellence-driven learning environment
