Duties:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise cloud-based environments.
• Ensure security best practices are followed for cloud platforms, containers, and networks.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
• Manage and scale cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to enhance system visibility.
• Optimise cost, performance, and scalability of cloud services and containerised applications.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Honour’s degree in related field will be advantageous.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, or Terraform are a plus.

• 3 years minimum in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in containerisation & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Pulumi).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack).

• Strong scripting & automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go).
• Deep understanding of Linux & Windows server
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud cost optimisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
