DevOps Engineer

SUMMARY:
DevOps Engineer required for an International Organisation who is building cloud-based technologies.

POSITION INFO:

This role is based in Johannesburg or remote and is also open to India as they have offices located there. If you have great academics and coding has been a passion of yours since school, with relevant experience get in touch.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with developers to produce effective strategies
• Build tools to reduce the occurrences of errors and improve the customer experience
• Evaluate product configuration according to specifications
• Visualise deployments
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Working on multiple projects at one time

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant BSc Degree with strong academics
• DevOps engineer with 3+ years’ solid experience
• Experience with cloud services – AWS or GCP or Azure
• Experience with configuration management tools
• Experience working with containers – Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD based application development
• You are familiar with data, APIs and cloud technology
• Previous experience in development
