DevOps and CloudOps Engineer

SUMMARY:
A dynamic software development environment is seeking an experienced DevOps and CloudOps Engineer to take ownership of its Azure Cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. This role is ideal for someone proactive, technically strong, and ready to lead DevOps initiatives while working closely with the broader development team.

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview

• Manage and maintain the Azure cloud environment
• Oversee and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines, source control, and release management
• Collaborate with developers to deploy builds and run automated testing
• Drive automation and continuous integration/delivery best practices
• Lead with a solutions-focused mindset and contribute to improving infrastructure reliability and security

Primary Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including source control and release management
• Proficiency in managing Azure CI/CD pipelines
• Solid technical experience with the Microsoft Azure platform (3–5 years)
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals
• Proficiency in MS SQL and Transact-SQL
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Tertiary qualification, National Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have (Advantageous)

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer certification
• Experience integrating software applications and services
• Exposure to Web Services, SOAP, EDIFACT, and RESTful APIs
• Background in international supply chain, logistics, or freight forwarding
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
