Key Responsibilities
? Construct, test, and manage Azure / AWS / GCP environments to support development, test, and production workloads.
? Aid development teams with architecting, incorporating, and testing applications in Azure / AWS / GCP environments leveraging cloud services
? Develop, evolve and automate operational tasks
? Construct, develop, and deploy containers to support client applications, Docker and Kubernetes.
? Utilise container cloud services, such as EKS/ECS.
? Deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform.
? Create ongoing integration and development pipelines for clients on various platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, TravisCI, and others.
? Incorporating and automating cloud security best practices
? Monitoring environments state and identify scaling thresholds
? System security assessments to identify and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities
? Deliver mitigation strategies for system security defects or vulnerabilities
? Oversee development team CI/CD pipelines to retain support test automation

Skills and experience
? 3 years of systems administration, patching operating systems, auditing log management, server
installations, backup and recovery, and certificate management.
? 3 years of Linux operating systems management
? 2 years of overseeing AWS environments
? 2 years of writing Infrastructure as Code
? At least 1 year of experience with Docker, Kubernetes and container technology.
? 1 year of operating AWS serverless technologies
? 1 year of showcased configuration management technology skills such as Puppet, Ansible or Chef
? 3 years of Linux shell scripting experience
? 1 year of experience with Java and maven, Javascript and node.js, or python
? 1 year of working with API Gateway and AWS Lambda
? 1 year of working with Elastic Container Service (ECS)
? 1 year working with Docker, Kubernetes or other container technologies
? Experience with productivity tools (Jira, Confluence)
? At least 1 year of experience with distributed version control systems (git)

Education
? Ideally a BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Related Degree
