SUMMARY:

Essential functions:

Maintain & enhance full-stack web-based applications as part of an Automation Managed Services (Support & Maintenance) team.
Must be able to function as part of a team, taking responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of the functionality built into existing applications.
Work under guidance from AMS Lead.
Take ownership and responsibility for assigned solutions – know the code, know the solution, be proactive and provide direction on improvements and enhancements i.e. become the technical owner.
Operate in a typical service desk environment – code related support calls.
Our team works remotely but a Gauteng base is preferred.
Must be able to communicate and keep up in a fast-paced, agile and complex environment.

POSITION INFO:

Essential Qualification:

.NET development-focussed certification. If not certified, must commit to complete a preferred certification within 6 months.

Preferred Qualification:

MCSD: AppBuilder or Certified Azure Developer.

Experience required:

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a development project team.

Technical skills required:

dotNet Core (c#)
SQL and Basic RDBMS
Basic Source control (push, pull, branching, check-ins etc).

Technical skills beneficial:

As many modern front-end framework as possible (Angular, React etc)
MVC
EF Core
RESTful API
JSON
Azure knowledge and/or certification
DevOps
Exposure to as many system integration scenarios and cloud-platforms as possible.
