SUMMARY:
We require a Development Operations Manager.

POSITION INFO:

The role of the Development Operations Manager encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):

-- Managing WCG Oracle laaS / PaaS and laaS platforms;

-- Ensuring governance and support to DevOps platforms and processes;

-- Driving and supporting the product team''s delivery on operational supportand maintenance of Server/Applications platforms and product development within the Systems Development Life Cycle.

-- Managing delivery from a number of ICT product teams, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation.

-- Putting measures in place to report on the effectiveness of the team''s service delivery.

-- Ensuring governance, continuity and stability of all procedures in the relevant departmental unit using best practices.

-- Identifying and implementing change within the existing team to ensure it can take on new service offerings.

-- Managing an ICT service desk.

-- Reporting to and assisting the Director or senior manager of the relevant departmental unit.

Minimum Requirements:

-- One or more tertiary qualification(s) issued by a registered tertiary institution that is/ore relevant to the role of the Development Operations Manager; OR

-- One or more industry accredited course credential(s) that is/are relevant to the role of the Development Operations Manager.

-- A minimum of 5 (five) years'' experience in a Development Operations Manager or equivalent role working or consulting on tasks or projects requiring ITIL, Project Management, IT Operations or DevOps.
