SUMMARY:
Diesel Mechanic
We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal) with a minimum of 1 years of experience. This position is based in the Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg. The successful candidate must have UD experience.

Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- Beneficial: Trade Certificate: Diesel Mechanic.
- 1 years of experience with UD.
- Essential: Own vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Ensure that the appropriate pre-start checklists are completed by the designated operator on a daily basis.
- Enforce compliance with the relevant maintenance procedures.
- Perform daily equipment availability monitoring.
- Conduct necessary servicing for the respective plant components.
- Analyse issues based on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Reduce plant downtime and handle downtime situations with a high degree of urgency.
- Guarantee adherence to the Company's preventative maintenance systems.
- Identify and rectify machine faults.
