Diesel Mechanic – Plettenberg Bay

Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 per month

POSITION INFO:
Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic NQF qualification is non-negotiable. Trade Tested \/ Red Seal qualification advantageous, but not applicable Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics Experience working on heavy-duty diesel machinery and equipment Valid driver's licence preferred Equipment Experience Candidates must have experience working on: Large plant equipment Tipper trucks Bin\/refuse trucks Diggers and loaders Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults Perform preventative maintenance and servicing Conduct inspections and fault-finding on heavy-duty equipment Repair and maintain hydraulic systems Ensure equipment remains operational and downtime is minimised Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
