Minimum Requirements Minimum of 10+ years’ experience as a
Diesel Mechanic working on heavy earthmoving/yellow equipment Proven experience working on equipment brands such as CAT, Bell, Bomag, and similar machinery Strong experience with: Excavators up to 90-ton 40ton ADT trucks Dozers up to D9 Tipper trucks Rollers Additional medium and heavy plant equipment Previous mining, construction, or large plant environment experience essential Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic qualification or equivalent technical qualification Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently in
remote site environments Valid passport required Previous African cross-border or expatriate experience advantageous Key Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on all plant equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently Perform breakdown repairs on-site to minimise operational downtime Inspect machinery and identify potential maintenance risks or failures Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer and safety standards Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Assist in planning maintenance schedules and parts requirements Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site Support operational teams to ensure equipment reliability and availability Meals and accomodation included - Salary between 6000 - 7500 Dollars
