SUMMARY:
We''re recruiting TWO Diesel Technicians to carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on commercial trucks while ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and minimal downtime.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Support Workshop Foreman and maintain strong internal relationships
Complete work efficiently and accurately
Record all labour hours, parts, lubricants, and consumables on job cards
Follow company systems, processes, and quality standards
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and PPE requirements
Attend breakdowns and overtime as required (roster-based)
Maintain company vehicles in clean, presentable condition
Communicate clearly with management and provide accurate feedback
Build strong relationships with colleagues, parts staff, and customers
Mentor and train apprentices; ensure proper skills transfer and logbook completion
Diagnose and manage warranty claims (Complaint, Cause, Correction)
Adhere to company policies, tools usage, and road regulations

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Tested)
Minimum 5 years commercial workshop experience
Code 14 drivers license with valid PDP
Strong technical ability and attention to detail
Physically fit and adaptable
Good communication skills (English)
