Who are we: One of the leading wholesale and retail business in South Africa with over 10 years of existence in the South African market.

Who we are looking for: A talented Digital Marketing Assistant.

What will you do:

Create digital marketing campaigns
- Including, but not limited to: digital material, print materials, promotional Items etc.
Ensure consistency in the brand messaging
Work with the sales team to coordinate marketing campaigns
Prepare emails and newsletters to send to current customers
Launch promotional offers and events to attract new customers
Optimise the business website to increase online traffic
Follow best practices for social media marketing on different platforms
Conduct regular audits for social media and website marketing performance
Maintain and monitor online listings across various e-commerce platforms
Track marketing metrics and analyse digital data to measure marketing success
Marketing administration and product management support
Management of promotional items and supplier relationships

What will you need:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
1 – 3 years experience
In-depth understanding of the retail and wholesale market would be an advantage
Demonstrated experience in the management of social and digital media
Google fundamentals of digital marketing, Google Analytics, Google Ads certificates
Graphic Design course (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop certificates)
Copywriting
Proficiency in the following programmes/softwares:
- Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Indesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Canva

Skills/Competencies:

Excellent design skills and knowledge of social media and creative platforms
Proficient in computer skills
Knowledge of the latest web technologies and industry trends
Attention to detail, accuracy and sensitivity
Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment - working on multiple projects at any given time
Flexibility and adaptability
Solutions-orientated, with an ability to approach problems logically and with creative thinking
