Digital Product Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well established integrated marketing solutions provider seeks to appoint a Product Manager to be based in Umhlanga.

POSITION INFO:

Incumbent must be in possession of a relevant degree, preferably A Bachelor of Computer Science degree or diploma, Minimum 3+ years'''' experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS company (or other relevant experience) Experience in managing products using Agile methodologies, Experience with a BI Tool such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableaux, Experience with SQL, AWS or other cloud computing platforms & JIRA.

2. Carry out market competition analysis and user research
3. Communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and identify use cases
4. Define product requirements, including user flows, wireframes, and system diagrams
5. Prioritize product initiatives based on based on client need, business strategy, and market context
6. Work with the UX design team and with technical leads to design features
7. Conduct usability testing
8. Work with technical leads and development teams in an agile environment to ensure implementation is high quality and strategically aligned
9. Communicate risks and manage change in real time
10. Provide internal training and cross-departmental communication for new features
 
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
1. A Bachelor of Computer Science degree or diploma
2. Minimum 3+ years'''' experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS company (or other relevant experience)
3. Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
4. Experience in managing products using Agile methodologies
5. Experience in driving execution with cross-functional teams
6. Ability to write comprehensive documents in a clear, concise, and structured manner
7. Ability to analyse and simplify complex systems Advantageous
 
Technical Capabilities:
1. Experience with a BI Tool such as Microsoft PowerBI, Tableaux
2. Experience with SQL as a programming language
3. Experience with AWS or other cloud computing platforms
4. Experience with JIRA
