JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established JSE listed Manufacturing company is looking for a Direct Tax Specialist to join their organization. If you are analytical, persuasive, HIGHLY organized and have a knack for tax frameworks, processes, systems and policies then this is for you!

Reporting to the Tax Lead, this specialist guru would be required to develop frameworks aligned to the appropriate industry standards, create the required forums, and establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms to ensure that compliance is effective.

Duties:

Calculation of monthly and annual income tax liability
Guidance on international tax regulations
Calculation of dividend and royalty taxes
Maintain tax risk register
Statutory and management reporting
Internal audit, external audit, and internal control
Guidance on income tax implications
Deferred tax and transfer pricing structures

Qualifications:

BCom/HDip in Tax or International Tax

Experience:

Min. 7 years' experience
