SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Global Payroll Tax Administrator to support payroll preparation and manage tax compliance across multiple international jurisdictions within a global EOR environment. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong payroll and/or international tax experience, capable of handling complex cross-border compliance.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Manage payroll tax calculations across multiple jurisdictions ensuring accurate gross-to-net processing within country-specific frameworks
Prepare and review monthly and annual payroll tax filings across relevant countries
Identify, investigate, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies
Liaise with local in-country stakeholders for query resolution
Any additional related ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

Minimum Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
Proven operational payroll and/or tax experience in multi jurisdiction or cross-border environments.
Direct ownership of payroll tax submissions
Strong understanding of compliance risk within international payroll structures.
Advanced Excel capability (including lookup functions, nested IF statements, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
Strong analytical and investigative mindset
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to operate effectively under strict global deadlines across time zones.
Clear and professional written communication skills (client-facing exposure preferred)

Preferred Experience:

Experience within an Employer of Record (EOR), global payroll provider, or multinational organization.
Exposure to payroll/ tax complexities such as:
Cross-border tax implications
Intercompany transactions
Tax Authority Communications
Multi-country reconciliations
Experience managing high-volume or high-growth environments.
