JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established JSE-listed Oil, Gas and Petroleum company is looking for a Direct Tax Specialist to join their organization. If you are experienced with tax accounting, comfortable with the advisory/consulting space and are a corporate tax guru, then this one is for you!

Reporting to the Head of Tax, this specialist guru would be responsible for compliant management of all payments related to direct taxes, keep track of the legal changes and tax implications and performing analyses and recommendations on tax issues.

Duties:

Calculation of monthly and annual income tax liability
Guidance on international tax regulations
Calculation of dividend and royalty taxes
Maintain tax risk register
Statutory and management reporting
Internal audit, external audit, and internal control
Guidance on income tax implications
Deferred tax and transfer pricing structures (basic understanding i.e. reviewing)

Qualifications:

CA(SA) or BCom Accounting & Taxation

Experience:

Min. 6 years post articles experience in corporate tax
Experience with SARS
SAP knowledge – NB!
