They are seeking an experienced HR Director to provide strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple countries, ensuring alignment between regional business objectives and global people strategies.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Partner with senior regional leadership to translate global HR strategies into effective regional execution plans. Drive HR transformation initiatives across multiple African markets, ensuring consistency, governance, and operational excellence. Coordinate regional HR projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives while managing timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Foster strong collaboration between regional, global, and corporate HR teams to ensure alignment with organisational policies and best practices. Support and influence country HR teams by promoting consistent processes, compliance, and high-quality HR service delivery. Lead regional reporting, workforce analytics, dashboards, and executive presentations to support informed business decisions. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, governance, and employee experience across the region. Provide strategic guidance on organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee relations, change management, and HR operations. Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders across diverse markets. Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification and\/or recognised HR certification will be advantageous. Minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience within multinational organisations. Demonstrated experience in HR Business Partnering or Generalist leadership roles across multiple African markets. Strong project management experience leading regional or enterprise-wide HR initiatives. Solid understanding of HR governance, employment legislation, compliance, workforce planning, performance management, organisational development, and employee relations. Experience operating within a complex, matrixed international environment. Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel across Africa as required.
