POSITION INFO:
StratLab is partnering with a high-impact Web3 organisation on the search for a Director of Finance & Treasury.
We are seeking an experienced crypto-native finance professional with strong leadership experience, capable of overseeing treasury operations, digital asset accounting, and financial governance at scale.
This role is ideal for someone who has operated inside a crypto-native organisation, understands the complexities of blockchain-based finance, and can build, lead, and optimise financial frameworks in a decentralised environment.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, candidates
must have:
- Experience working at a crypto-native company (non-negotiable)
- 4+ years crypto-focused treasury management experience
- Proven managerial experience (team leadership, oversight of finance or treasury functions)
- Hands-on experience with digital asset tools (Safe, Fireblocks, Coinbase Custody, etc.)
- Experience managing OTC conversions, settlements, and multi-currency flows
- Strong understanding of accounting for crypto transactions
- Experience with crypto accounting tools such as Tres, Cryptio, Cryptoworth
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive operational excellence
- Experience managing external stakeholders (auditors, custodians, OTC desks, service providers)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end treasury management across fiat & digital assets
- Manage and mentor finance/treasury team members
- Establish and refine treasury strategy, liquidity modelling, and risk frameworks
- Oversee conversions, settlements, disbursements, and multi-currency flows
- Ensure secure and compliant multisig operations with strong internal controls
- Implement best practices for crypto accounting and financial reporting
- Coordinate with auditors, custodians, OTC desks, and vendors
- Present financial insights to leadership and support decision-making
Ideal Candidates May Also Have
- Experience in decentralised or DAO-based financial structures
- Familiarity with Web3 governance processes
- Ability to build and scale treasury frameworks from the ground up
- Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
