POSITION INFO:
Director of Finance Role Description: Responsible for overseeing financial planning, financial statements, analytical skills, financial reporting, and managing the overall finance function of the organization. Reports to: General Manager Subordinated positions (titles): Finance and Purchasing Team of app 12 Associates Work Hours: Monday to Friday Benefits: Discovery Medical Aid – 100% Company contribution for self, spouse and up to 3 children Momentum Provident and Risk Fund – 6% 6% Company contribution Free parking Uniform Allowance Company Cellphone Annual Performance Bonus based on overall performance of Hotel (up to 160% of 40% of annual basic salary) Qualifications CA Qualification highly advantageous (almost essential) or similar qualification in finance or accounting, such as a degree or professional certification Strong financial planning and financial reporting skills Ability to analyze financial statements and provide insights Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in finance and accounting roles Knowledge of financial systems and processes Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is a huge plus Person Specifications: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in finance and accounting roles Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen Strong attention to detail and presentation Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Customer service-oriented mindset
