This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a regional distribution network within a dynamic engineering and industrial environment. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through established partners while identifying and onboarding new distributors to expand market reach.
As a key player in the commercial team, you will work closely with both distributors and end customers, developing strategic growth plans, improving channel performance, and ensuring long-term business success. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives on building relationships and unlocking new market opportunities.

Education:

Degree in Engineering or related technical qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience in distribution sales or channel management within an industrial or engineering environment
Strong track record of delivering sales growth and expanding market share
Experience managing and developing distributor networks
Understanding of industrial automation, pneumatics, or mechanical systems
Ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans
Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and negotiation experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems
Willingness to travel extensively within South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the regional distribution strategy
Identify, onboard, and develop new and existing distribution partners
Set and monitor sales targets and performance metrics
Build and maintain strong relationships across the distribution network
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions
Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities
Drive profitability through effective pricing and commercial strategies
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across the channel
