JOB SUMMARY:
Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the FMCG Sector is looking to employ a Distribution Manager to join their dynamic team in Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth (40km from Gqeberha/ Port Elizabeth).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Manage and plan for distribution incl. products, people, routes & customers
Optimize fleet utilization and cost
Ensure optimum customer service delivery is met incl. orders, products, queries & cash
Manage a team, vehicles and equipment (incl. pallets)
Ensure accurate management of the Distribution department and Drivers via the Mix Telematics system
Ensure that weekly &/or monthly reporting of all KPI’s within distribution is submitted to Management
Manage vehicle inspections & maintenance of trucks
Manage the returns and credit processes
Work hand in hand with the Sales and Production departments to ensure flawless execution of supply

Job Requirements:

Relevant Logistics or Distribution qualification
Five years relevant experience
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
SAGE ERP experience (advantageous)
Knowledge or experience of Mix Telematics tracking suystem (advantageus)
Ability to work on weekends & public holidays when needed
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work across other departments
Sound problem solving skills
Attention to detail
Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
Must have own reliable transport
