SUMMARY:
Technical Document Controller. Safety Compliance File Controller.
The Document Controller, QMS & Safety File Coordinator will be responsible for managing project documentation, quality records, QMS documentation and project safety files from project commencement through to final handover.
At least three years' document-control experience, preferably within an electrical, engineering, construction or manufacturing environment.
Experience compiling project safety files.
Familiarity with FAT documentation, QC records, drawings, revision control and final databooks. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and occupational health and safety documentation.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF-management skills.
Maintain PPE registers, induction records, appointment letters and legal appointments.
Obtain and maintain equipment inspection records, calibration certificates and operator licences. Maintain contractor documentation and ensure contractor safety information is complete.
Review client safety-file requirements and identify any outstanding documentation. Submit safety files to clients for approval and track comments, revisions and acceptance. Ensure approved safety files are available before employees or contractors attend site. Maintain updated electronic and hard copy safety files throughout the project

POSITION INFO:
Maintain the master project document register. Control drawings, revisions, approvals, client comments and document submissions. Compile, review and issue FAT packs, QC documentation and final project databooks. Maintain calibration certificates, test certificates, inspection records, manufacturer documentation and site records. Track outstanding documentation and follow up with Design, QC, Workshop, Procurement, PM and Site Teams. Manage document submissions, transmittals and client document control platforms. Maintain ISO 9001 documents, registers, procedures, corrective actions and internal-audit records. Assist with internal audits and follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
