We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP HCM / SuccessFactors Functional Consultant for a 12-month contract opportunity in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on SAP ECC HCM OM/PA configuration experience, combined with strong SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation expertise and proven end-to-end SAP HCM project experience. This is a senior functional role requiring strong business engagement, systems integration and HR transformation experience.

Senior SAP HCM \/ SuccessFactors Functional Consultant - 12-Month Contract Location: Gauteng Contract Duration: 12 Months Contract Rate: R120,000 - R140,000 per month (Fixed Monthly Rate) Specialisation: SAP HCM | SAP ECC | OM\/PA | SuccessFactors Employee Central The Opportunity An exciting 12-month contract opportunity is available for a highly experienced Senior SAP HCM \/ SuccessFactors Functional Consultant to join a large and complex corporate environment in Gauteng. We are specifically looking for a senior SAP HCM specialist with strong hands-on SAP ECC HCM Organisational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA) configuration experience, combined with proven SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation expertise. This is a senior functional role requiring someone who can work independently, engage confidently with HR and technical stakeholders, and contribute across the full SAP HCM project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain SAP HCM Organisational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA) . Maintain organisational units, jobs, positions, tasks and reporting relationships. Configure evaluation paths, organisational workflows, object relationships and organisational assignments. Manage position management structures and workforce planning requirements. Support organisational restructures, mergers and acquisitions. Gather, analyse and document HR business requirements. Translate business requirements into effective SAP functional solutions. Conduct impact assessments and document system requirements. Support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementations, enhancements and optimisation. Support integrations between SAP ECC HCM, SuccessFactors Employee Central, Payroll, Time Management and third-party Time & Attendance systems . Participate in end-to-end SAP implementations, including testing, cutover and go-live activities. Prepare functional designs, technical design inputs, test scripts and project documentation. Provide second-level support for application and integration-related issues. Support system audits, validation activities and IT General Controls (ITGCs). Perform SAP Note implementations relating to functional and security requirements. Effectively communicate project deliverables, risks, issues and progress. Minimum Requirements Relevant Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. 8-15 years' SAP HCM experience. Minimum 5 years' SAP OM\/PA configuration experience. Minimum 3 years' SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience. Strong hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central experience. Proven end-to-end SAP HCM implementation experience. Experience supporting and enhancing SAP solutions within large and complex HR environments. Strong understanding of employee master data and employee lifecycle processes. Experience with SAP HR integrations involving Payroll, Time Management and\/or Time & Attendance systems. Strong requirements gathering, functional design, documentation and stakeholder engagement capability. Required Certifications SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HCM SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification Who We Are Looking For You are an experienced SAP HCM Functional Consultant who can operate independently and take ownership of functional deliverables. You have worked extensively across SAP ECC HCM OM\/PA and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central , and your experience extends beyond system support into hands-on configuration, implementation, integration and optimisation. Experience within mining, manufacturing, industrial or similarly large and complex corporate environments would be advantageous. Important This is a specialist SAP HCM functional position. Candidates must demonstrate strong SAP OM\/PA configuration experience AND SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation experience to be considered.
