SUMMARY:
Our client is a well-established South African OEM that designs, manufactures, tests and commissions mineral processing equipment and plants for the mining industry. They operate an ISO 9001 (TÜV SÜD) certified quality system and follow a concurrent engineering approach across business development, engineering, projects and fabrication.

About the role
Manage and control all project documentation and make sure it is accurate and up to date, while expediting the timely delivery of project materials, drawings, manuals and document registers. You will also give administrative support to the project team.

You will report to the Project Engineer / Project Manager and oversee the Trainee Junior Project Administrator.

POSITION INFO:
Key responsibilities Control, file and maintain project documents, drawings, manuals and document control registers Ensure documentation meets company standards and is accessible to the team Track and expedite the delivery of project materials and documentation Resolve issues with material supply and documentation promptly Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and distribute minutes Track project tasks and milestones and follow up on deadlines Assist with budget tracking, resource coordination and status reporting Support quality assurance and risk\/issue logging Minimum requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent Degree in Project Management, Engineering or Business Administration, OR a Project Management \/ Business Administration certificate Understanding of document control principles and document management systems Computer literate: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Advantageous Previous experience as a Document Controller, Expeditor, Project Administrator or similar Experience in an engineering, manufacturing or projects environment The right person will be Meticulous attention to detail Strong organisational and follow-up skills Clear communicator with suppliers and internal teams Able to work to tight deadlines
