Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Technical or CAD drawing subjects advantageous)
• Draughting Diploma/Certificate advantageous
• 3D Software certificate
• Nesting Software

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturing drawings in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure all manufacturing drawings meet drawing office standards.
• Create and update cutting lists in accordance with Drawing Office standards.
• Ensure all cutting list data is accurate and up to date.
• Measuring samples.
• Measuring of Miscellaneous parts required for manufacturing
• Update NC program directory for sheet metal department.
• Ensure NC programs are updated to the latest revisions
• Issue job cards for custom equipment as per works order.
• Ensure production schedules are kept up to date with the current status
• Maintain and update the Drawing Office job register as and when required
• Ensure that the work environment conforms to safety requirements.
• Report incidents within 24 hours.
• Actively participate in safety and health training
