POSITION INFO:
As an E,C&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimisation of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within a complex industrial environment. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring process stability, improving system performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will directly impact plant uptime, efficiency, and automation capability.
Education:
- BEng / BSc in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
- Registration with the ECSA (advantageous)
Job Experience & Skills Required:- Strong experience in electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation
- Proven ability in fault finding, system diagnostics, and process optimisation
- Experience with instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, and level systems)
- Solid understanding of control philosophies and process control systems
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, and ethernet/IP)
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, FMCG, or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and efficiency
- Experience in project execution, commissioning, and upgrades
