EE Earthmoving Mechanic, Boksburg. Rneg + Ben

Trade Test Certificate (Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic).
Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience working with earthmoving or heavy-duty construction equipment (e.g., CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Bell, Hitachi, etc.).
Proven ability to perform diagnostics and fault finding on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license (Code 08 ).
Must be a South African citizen and EE candidate.

Key Duties

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on earthmoving machinery and equipment.
Conduct fault finding and diagnostics on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Inspect, test, and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Carry out field service repairs and respond promptly to breakdowns on-site or at client locations.
Maintain detailed service records and complete job cards accurately.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with OEM specifications and safety standards.
Assist with component rebuilds, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
Collaborate with workshop supervisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop area in a clean and safe condition.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
