EPlan Electrical Draughtsman

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with strong experience in EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Autodesk software to join our engineering/design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and supporting project execution from concept through to completion.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with strong experience in EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Autodesk software to join our engineering/design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and supporting project execution from concept through to completion.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical and mechanical drawings using EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Autodesk tools
• Develop schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and general arrangement drawings
• Interpret engineering designs and translate them into accurate technical drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians
• Maintain drawing registers and document control systems
• Assist with site measurements and as-built drawings where required

🎯 Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Draughting / Engineering Design or related field
• 3+ years’ experience in a draughtsman role
• Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, AutoCAD, and Autodesk software
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and control panels (advantageous)
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
