ERP Functional Analyst

SUMMARY:
A multinational conglomerate whose head quarters is based in Switzerland is looking for an ERP Functional Analyst to join their Process Automation Business Area. The organization specializes in robotics, power, and automation technology areas. The role will report to the Country ERP Service Manager and will represent the IS Department in Finance and Controlling (FICO) locally.

The organization specializes in robotics, power, and automation technology areas. The role will report to the Country ERP Service Manager and will represent the IS Department in Finance and Controlling (FICO) locally. The ERP Functional Analyst will be the Single Point of Contact for local business units.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The ERP Functional Analyst will be responsible for guiding business in giving advisory in finance, controlling and project systems domains with SAP and participating in governance meetings with different stakeholders. The ERP Functional Analyst will be responsible for participating in ERP projects and supporting business team members for the SAP requirements. The successful candidate will act as the single point of contact for all SAP FICA and PS related topics as well as performing SAP configuration and fulfilling change management.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• SAP FICO Certification
• BCom degree would be advantageous

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 4 years’ experience in SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules
• Sound understanding of corporate governance, compliance standards and internal controls
• Experience in the implementation of SAP projects
• Excellent understanding, working knowledge and experience of SAP FICO
• Strong analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience in Project Systems (PS) module would be preferred
• Good understanding in accounting and financial principles (US GAAP, SOX, Tax ledgers)
• Comfortable with a constantly changing environment focused on continuous improvement
