Oracle Principal Functional Consultant

SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with deep expertise in the asset lifecycle value chain? We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Principal Functional Consultant to join a dynamic Financial Services environment in Tshwane (Pretoria) on an 18 to 24-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a key role in supporting and maintaining the Oracle transactional environment, while driving best-practice financial solutions across the business. POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree (NQF 7) or diploma (NQF 6) or equivalent industry specific certification
• 8 to 12 years’ experience in Oracle functional consulting, with strong exposure to Asset Tracking, Fixed Assets, and Project Costing
• Proven expertise in supporting the asset lifecycle value chain
• Solid experience in application analysis, architecture and/or design
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and thought leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment and contribute positively to team dynamics
• Oracle certification in on-premises and/or cloud solutions will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders

• Provide Oracle functional support and maintenance within the ERP business solutions environment
• Support business processes across the asset lifecycle value chain, with a focus on AT, Project Costing, and Fixed Assets
• Facilitate and manage enhancements and business demands from various units
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business on leading financial processes from an Oracle perspective
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of solutions, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and alignment with business needs
• Participate in key initiatives and projects within the broader Oracle and financial systems landscape
• Develop and deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal teams, including required supporting documentation
