ERP Specialist, Pretoria East (Lynwood)

POSITION INFO:

Our client a leading Business Process Solutions company in South Africa is seeking an ERP Specialist for their offices in Pretoria. The candidate will be required to travel to clients although currently everything is being done remotely using teams.

The applicant must be a responsible person and must be able to work independently
The applicant must have good client relations and respond quickly to client queries
The applicant must have good communications and writing skills

Competencies

Financial background is essential - e.g. finance/accounting (Good technical knowledge and have a detailed level of accounting skills)
PFMA Knowledge and understanding
Recent experience in the full functional ERP implementation cycle - Business analysis, requirement gathering, testing, training, go live
Sound understanding of Dynamics AX 2012 (essential)
At Least 5 years’ experience as ERP consultant in Microsoft Dynamics AX version 2012 R2
Worked on following modules:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Project and Management Accounting (Understand the commitment register and projects in the seta environment)
General ledger
Budgeting
Fixed Assets
Leave System

Expertise:

Sit with senior staff of the client CEO’s CFO’s and finance staff to run workshops at the client and understand the business to prepare functional specifications /blue prints
Configure the system according to the client’s needs
Run user acceptance test with the client
Assist the client with data migration and prepare audit files with all signed off data migration
Need to understand the data migration process and recons between old and new system of the client
Prepare upload templates and upload on the system for the client
Need to provide daily support to the client
Drafting and updating of training manuals
Provide training to clients (groups and one on one)
Write tender proposals for new clients and demo the system to new potential clients
Identify Gaps on the system and spec gaps
Work with the AX developer
