JOB SUMMARY:
Our client, within the FMCG (meat producing) sector is looking for an experienced ERP and Process Analyst to join their team. This position will report to the IT / IS Manager and the envisaged start date is 01 March 2022.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to implement and maintain various information systems contributing to the success of the company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Systems
Successful implementations
Technology relevancy – at least 3 software suggestions per year
Incidents / Tickets
Feature implementations
Update testing (no downtime due to update issues or flaws)
Update Testing model (well-maintained testing model with Version control)
Update testing automation
Monthly plant walkthrough
Database Administration
DB optimization
DB incident investigation and reporting
DB administration
Process
Analyse, create and document process
Revision control
Handover (signed off process)
Policies and procedures (kept up to date)

Security
Adhere to best security practices
Assist IT Manager in identifying security risks
Support
Assist IT Manager with general related tasks when necessary
After hours support
Reporting
Data accuracy
Turnaround time
Report definitions
Presentation of reports
Version control
Stored procedures / views comments
Management
Junior ERP Support Analyst management
ERP Team reporting

Educational Requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous

Experience and Skills Required:

Excellent T-SQL Programming skills
2 – 3 years’ DBA experience
Good understanding of ERP systems (minimum 3 years’ experience)
Own transport and valid driver’s license
Self-motivator
Organised
Must be able to prioritise and keep calm during stressful situations

Additional information:

No leave between 15 November and 15 November
2 Weekends per month standby (Paid)
18 days leave per year
Can work from home one day per week
Must have own reliable internet access at home
