SUMMARY:

An established technology services organisation is looking for an experienced Service Centre Manager to lead and grow its Service Centre operations. This role is responsible for managing service delivery, customer interactions, reporting, and equipment repairs in a costâeffective and efficient manner. The successful candidate will drive profitability, ensure exceptional service standards, and build strong, longâterm customer relationships while leading a highâperforming technical team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

Lead and implement strategic and operational plans to ensure profitability, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the Service Centre.

Quality Management

Oversee endâtoâend service delivery, including technical support, repairs, quality control, and compliance with manufacturer and ISO standards.

Customer Management

Manage customer relationships by resolving service queries, improving satisfaction, and developing longâterm client partnerships.

Administration Management

Ensure effective administration and resource management, including budgeting, stock control, reporting, and process optimisation.

People Management

Lead, develop, and manage the Service Centre team through performance management, training, coaching, and recruitment, while fostering a customerâfocused, highâperformance culture.

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

Minimum Requirements

Matric and a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or a suitable equivalent qualification
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar management role
Strong technical knowledge related to the servicing of survey equipment, geospatial products, and highly technical instruments
Understanding of relevant industries, applications, solutions, and customer requirements
Excellent analytical, faultâfinding, and problemâsolving abilities
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
Ability to meet the physical requirements necessary to perform the role

Advantageous

Advanced technical knowledge of leading geospatial and measurement products and services
Experience working with service management or ERP systems
