The Opportunity
An impact-driven organisation focused on sustainable growth and economic development is seeking a commercially minded Economic Development & Investment Partnerships Manager to identify, structure, and support viable development initiatives and investment partnerships that create measurable socio-economic impact.

This role is ideal for someone who combines commercial thinking with a passion for meaningful economic transformation.

You’ll Likely Be a Strong Fit If You Have Experience in Most of the Following:

5–7+ years’ experience in economic development, investment, infrastructure, development finance, ESG, enterprise development, consulting, or related sectors
Proven experience identifying and developing commercially viable business opportunities or investment initiatives
Strong business case development, feasibility analysis, and financial modelling capability
Experience structuring partnerships with entrepreneurs, operators, investors, financiers, or strategic stakeholders
Exposure to governance, compliance, and risk management environments
Strong stakeholder engagement experience across public, private, and community sectors
Project management experience across multiple initiatives
Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
Willingness to travel regularly

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Development Studies, or related field
Postgraduate qualification advantageous
