POSITION INFO:
Required education and experience:
Relevant teaching qualification from a recognised institute.
Preferable any of the following: Microsoft Certified Expert Educator, Microsoft Certificated
Trainer, Apple Teacher, Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher, TSSA Trainer, Promethean Certified Trainer.
Three to five years of successful classroom teaching experience in a technology-rich learning
environment.
Experience in professional development of educators.
Proven track record in use of best practice instructional methods, curriculum design, the use of
technology to improve instruction, and the ability to build professional mentoring relationships,
solve problems, plan collaboratively and provide feedback effectively.

In-depth Knowledge of:
Current educational tools including online learning.
Subject curriculums, curriculum development and best practices in learning and teaching
pedagogy.
Developing enquiry-based and project-based learning activities for 21st-century learners.
Critical and creative thinking strategies.
Microsoft, Apple and Promethean products for Education.
Attributes:
Well-developed interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and applications.
Ability to evaluate and curate resources for research purposes.
High end educational user and advocate, with a capacity to support and guide professional

Key Performance Areas:
Create and facilitate school-based, high-quality professional development, working with teachers to refine their knowledge and skills in using technology to support and enhance
teaching and learning.
Training may include in-class instruction, one-on-one meetings and facilitated group workshops.
Mentor teachers in and model design and implementation of technology-enhanced learning experiences using a variety of research-based, learner-centred instructional strategies,
resources, and assessment tools to address the diverse needs and interests of all learners and to increase achievement emphasizing creativity, and higher order thinking skills.
Design and implementation of active learning spaces and live events and broadcasts.
Actively engage in new educational strategies and tools, including conferences and workshops.
Adhere to, model, and communicate copyright, digital citizenship, as well as other laws and
