A hybrid role for an engineer interested in both electrical systems and automation, offering exposure to advanced testing, system development, and applied research projects.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

Support testing and development of integrated electrical and automation systems.
Conduct laboratory testing, commissioning, and validation activities.
Assist with system integration and performance optimisation.
Collaborate with engineering and research teams on innovation-driven projects.
Prepare detailed test reports and technical documentation.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in electrical and/or automation engineering roles.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, control logic, and instrumentation.
Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, or R&D environments.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and reporting abilities.

Qualification:

Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Control Engineering essential.

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
