Electrical Building Services (HOD)

SUMMARY:
Are you a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer with experience in managing and running a department? Here is a great opportunity to join a Leading Engineering consultancy. The ideal candidate has strong client contacts within the property sector and experience in Leading an Electrical Building Services discipline from a technical, financial and people perspective.

POSITION INFO:

Skills & Experience:  

Proven track record in business leadership

Must have a good reputation in the Building Services Industry and an established client base

Excellent business development skills

Good Knowledge of SANS 10142 – 1 & 2, SANS 10139, SANS 10400 and SANS 204, etc

Experience with Building contracts i.e. PROCSA, JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, etc

Must be confident and effective in dealing with contractual matters

Experience with AutoDesk BIM, and CAD software

Registration as an AutoDesk certified professional will be advantageous

Experience with Electrical software packages such as Relux, Dialux, CBi, Ecodial, Amtech

Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical Building Services Consulting environment

Qualification:

BSc / BEng Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
