Electrical Draughtsman

SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsman to join our dynamic team

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software, and supporting the engineering team with project documentation and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, diagrams, and layouts as per engineering specifications.
• Interpret technical designs and create accurate drafts using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Update and maintain documentation as per project changes and revisions.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry codes, regulations, and internal quality standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman (2+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential electrical projects.
• Knowledge of local electrical standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with Revit, EPLAN, or similar electrical design tools.
