Education:
At-least B.Sc. Electrical Engineering

Experience:
5 Years +

Requirements:

Qualification to be required is Pr Eng
Engineering detailed design and construction experience on utility scale solar PV projects with aggregate capacity of +100 MWp
Understand all relevant standards for solar electrical connection
Understand design specifications and technical drawings.
Supervised at least 5 solar PV projects with at least 3 projects with 10 MWp capacity
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to create technical plans.
Estimate project timescales, as well as material, construction and labour costs.
Attend educational/technical training and workshops to maintain professional knowledge.
Attend meetings and give presentations to managers/clients.
Providing technical support for business development activities such as developing proposals
Understanding of IEC, IEEE, NFPA and Grid Code.
English Communication (Verbal & Written)

Software:
ETAP, Power factory, AutoCAD, EMTP, PSCAD Microsoft Office

Job Location:
Cape Town, South Africa or PMC office or Site.

Salary:
