SUMMARY:
Are you a technically astute Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in Medium Voltage (MV), High Voltage (HV), and substation design? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join a well-established engineering firm specialising in innovative electrical solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute MV/HV electrical and substation design projects from concept to completion.
Perform detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation.
Interface with project stakeholders, utilities, and contractors to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Provide technical support during project installation, commissioning, and handover.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.

Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering (non-negotiable).
5+ years of proven experience in MV/HV and substation design.
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DigSILENT, or similar.
Strong understanding of SANS, IEC, and utility standards.
Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.
