SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and sustainability-focused organisation that is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing technical team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
Professionally registered Engineer (Pr Eng) with the ECSA
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering projects
Strong experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or utility-related projects
Proficient in electrical design, commissioning, and project execution
Knowledge of relevant South African codes and standards
Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for projects
Prepare technical specifications, reports, and design documentation
Conduct site inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with ECSA standards and applicable regulations
Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
Liaise with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors
Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Preferred Skills:

Experience with LV/MV systems and power distribution
Exposure to renewable energy or sustainable engineering projects advantageous
Proficiency in engineering software and simulation tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
