Electrical Engineer (CT)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a dynamic Engineering Consulting company in the building services industry, requires the full-time services of a registered ECSA Electrical Engineer (Professional / Candidate Engineer about to register as Professional) or Electrical Engineering Technologist to join the Electrical Engineering Department at their offices in Cape Town ASAP.
This opportunity offers challenges in multi-disciplinary engineering consulting services and exciting projects in energy, infrastructure, building etc.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities
Management of projects
Design and Project Engineering
Consulting clients and contractors - interface electrical services with multi-disciplinary engineering services in construction
Assist with tenders and contracts as well as contractor management on site
Electrical building and consulting services to projects in government and private sectors
Quality and compliance management

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications and skills:
BSc /BEng or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering
ECSA registered Candidate or Professional Electrical Engineer or Engineering Technologist essential
Must have 8-10 years' post qualification working experience in building and/or healthcare services
Knowledge of large scale renewables highly recommended
Candidates must be residing in Cape Town or prepared to relocate there
Strong management, leadership and people skills
Consulting Engineering experience in infrastructure and/or building services
Electrical building services experience
Must have valid driver's license, own reliable transport and be medically fit to work on building sites
Renewable energy experience would be beneficial but is not essential

Package & Remuneration
Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
