SUMMARY:
An Electrical Engineer opportunity is available with a large company within the transformer and substation environment. The main purpose of this role is for the incumbent to take responsibility for engineering-related aspects of transformers, minisubs, MV switchgear and modular substations.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

National Diploma or equivalent: in Electrical Engineering, a BTech, or BEng.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
AutoCad.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Review specifications received during enquiry stage.
Review schematics, general arrangement drawings, single line diagrams, and data sheets from suppliers to ensure alignment with specifications.
Manage drawing amendments through to final approval by customer.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers.
Supervise the commissioning of equipment on site.
Assess technical issues that may arise on site on equipment supplied by Trafo.
Prepare technical reports when required.
Assist clients with technical queries.
Design LV and MV solutions.
