Electrical Sales Manager

Johannesburg

Salary: R68 000 – R78 000 plus commission and 13^th cheque

Main Purpose: Strategize, implement and monitor Sales for the Business Unit in order to meet company targets for retention, growth and profitability.

Duties:

Effective and efficient planning and implementation of marketing strategy, customer retention and development by indication of increased Sales
Management and development of staff is executed according to Company standards and requirements, as well as meeting of Sales budgets at the correct margins
Adherence to authorization procedure for business unit by indication of correct procedures followed
Profit and growth objectives are met
Responsibilities are executed in accordance with company requirements and relevant legislation
ISO system is adhered to at all times
Company image is maintained according to company standards and requirements
Agreed upon Sales targets met

Minimum:

Grade 12 Tertiary
Business Management Diploma or similar
Electrical / Electronics background
Proven Sales track record
Must have been personally active in the sales area with customers for past 5 years
15 years’ experience in a technical sales environment to mining (hard rock & coal)
Previous Sales Managerial experience in a service orientated industry
Electrical & Electronics background essential
Knowledge of Mining industry
Minimum 10 years’ management experience
