SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an opportunity available for an Electrical Superintendent in the Sunninghill area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Electrical Engineering Degree or National Diploma
6 years’ relevant experience, preferably 2 years’ managerial experience
Good understanding of relevant legislation, working knowledge of Eskom systems and project management knowledge

KPAs:

Maintain and improve relationships with key stakeholders
Monthly contact sessions with plant electrical personnel
Failure investigations and specialist inputs in electrical incidents
Represent corporate body in HV focus group
Support the energy recovery and base load generation projects.
Support and guide all electrical installation work on other major projects
Compile monthly, quarterly and annual Energy Reports
Report on projects as per project management requirement
Monitor and Eskom invoicing and train plant personnel to control cost
Annual audits on electrical systems with regards to protection, transformers etc.
Research new electrical technologies
